Ray and Donna Norris (friends of Lester and Grace) and Georgia and Michelle-sister of Rich Baker also joined us for the weekend. It was so nice to see a big group again. Come back and see us
We would like to thank Rex and Martha Goodson for hosting the October Rally in Branson. Several members arrived early to enjoy Branson, Silver Dollar City and the scenery. Although it was VERY WET Thursday & Friday, everyone survived the weekend. Fred and Dorene Jansen were able to join us and Dorene—you have not lost your touch. You always make us happy. We all pray that Dorene and Verna Gillilan’s health continues to improve. Also, Warren and Sue—we missed you and pray that your health returns to you.

TREASURY REPORT: $388.07 (given by Norma Stahlhuth and approved by all)
This amount does not include $25 from the August 50/50, or the money from the 50/50 raffle from this (October) rally.
Norma will pay Lester for the meat (ribs) provided this weekend. The hamburgers were provided by Charlie Hester (August guest), even though he couldn’t join us. NICE GUY!!!
Norma has closed the existing Bank Account. She will provide the new Treasurer the amount of money in the treasury and all records. The new Treasurer will open a new account. (See notes below on Election)

BUSINESS MEETING:
After the Saturday morning breakfast, Grace Mooney, Vice-President called the business meeting to order. Toni Ward read the minutes from the August meeting. Martha Goodson stated a correction to the August minutes as follows: …..Grace Mooney (not Martha Goodson) suggested going to the Tulip Festival in Pella, IA in May of 2010,,,, The remaining minutes were accepted as written.
NEW BUSINESS:
2010 RALLIES: Grace provided the sign up sheet for the 2010 rallies and asked for volunteers for the rallies. All rallies are held the second weekend each month. Please volunteer for a date.
2010 dates are as follows:
• May 14-16 Mooneys (Lester, Grace, Jeff, Lisa)
• June 11-13
• July 9-11
• August 13-15
• September 10-12 Bakers / Wards
• October 8-10
Grace made 2009 Campsite reservations and asked if people wanted her to do the same for 2010 or if hosts wanted to make their own site registration. Mary Ann suggested letting everyone find their own campsites. After some discussion, Lester Mooney made a motion to have Grace make all campsite reservations. Ernie Ward seconded the motion. If you have a particular campsite where you would like to host, let Grace know. Grace will make 2010 campsite reservations within the next few weeks and email the information to all members. Most campsites want a 30 day cancellation notice and a deposit. If a host ends up paying the deposit and the rally is cancelled, the Treasurer will reimburse the host from club funds. Ernie Ward made a motion to accept this proposal (regarding reimbursement.) Lester Mooney seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Toni Ward suggested that the new Treasurer get a debit card with the new account for club hosts to use for reservations and credits
DUES: No dues were required during 2009. 2010 dues are $10 per RV. The dues are due to the Treasurer May, 2010.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS: The election of new officers was held. Grace Mooney stated the nominations as follows, asking for other nominations or write-ins. There were none.
• President Ernie Ward
• Vice-President Lester Mooney
• Secretary/Treasurer Gail Baker
Grace had ballots to hand out. Mary Ann Smith made a motion to accept the “slate of officers” as stated by Grace and thus eliminate the need for casting a paper ballot. Lester Mooney seconded the motion. All were in favor, none opposed. The paper ballots were not used. The 2010 officers are as stated above. The new officers will obtain the necessary “books” from the 2009 officers. Norma gave Gail the Treasurers information and treasury money to set up a new account. We would like to thank our previous officers—Warren Cutright-President, Grace Mooney-Vice President, Norma Stahlhuth-Treasurer for all the work they did the past year(s) You served us well. Thank you!
Lester Mooney made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Curt Gillilan seconded the motion. Meeting adjourned.
This was the last Roos Rally for 2009. Until we meet again, I hope your travels from now until next spring are safe, with wonderful holidays and time with family. May everyone’s health and spirit be exceptional.
If you have changes or additions to these minutes, please email or call Toni Ward. Thank you.

HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN,
Toni Ward
